Roses is my new passion

Bought few roses some time ago from the nurseries and have fallen in love with them ever since. Not sure of their names though. Miniature rose? Ros kampung? Will need to do some research to know. I have managed to transplant them in bigger pots and have deheaded some of the flowers. Today they have been generous to me giving me even more blooms. Aren't they just beautiful?

My gardening journey

Hello friends,

This is actually my first attempt to share with you a little bit of my journey to gardening. My writing skill is definitely rusty. So better I think to keep it short and sweet. Can't exactly recall when I first started gardening. Definitely it started just a few months back. My husband and I currently lives in Melaka. We have just bought a single storey house. Fortunately for us we have some land  for gardening and for our child to run around. Since we moved in, I vowed to do some gardening, but I procrastinated at first. And viola!few months later I started planting vegetable and flowers.

Who inspires me to gardening? Almost everyone and everything surrounding me. My husband seem to approve as I have stopped dragging him to the malls to buy nice clothes. My mom? She is also into gardening. Sometimes our outing together ended us at the nursery to buy plants and seeds. My son? Owh he's adorable. He will do his version of gardening by doing a mess. His effort to make a mess inspire me even more to garden. :)) Living in Melaka itself inspire me to grow plants. If you have been to Melaka I think you will understand. Here, the plants are well taken care of. You can see beautiful plants and flowers grows along the main road. Bloggers here also have helped me in every way which keeps me inspired in gardening. I read blogs, I send and received emails as well as bought seeds here. What I am trying to say I guess, is -THANK YOU-for being there :) You know who you are.

I am not sure how long will this new hobby last. I hope it continues. I  actually don't mind doing this for the rest of my life =)
